Play Time Childcare - Employment

PLAYtime is looking for caregivers who have previous experience in a child care setting and are able to lead children positively in thinking and physical activities. Caregivers are also required to perform cleaning and sanitation procedures for the center. Caregivers must possess the following specific qualifications:

1. Caregivers must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or the equivalent.

2. Caregivers must abide by the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers.

3. Caregivers must have the ability to utilize transitions skills for effective mobility of children.

4. Caregivers must continuously perform activities with children that include cognitive thinking, small muscle usage and large muscle usage.

5. Caregivers must control and discipline children through positive discipline and guidance skills.

6. Caregivers must utilize positive interaction skills with children.

7. Caregivers must supervise children at all times.

Current available Shifts for Caregivers:

Flexible mid day, evening and weekend shifts are currently available for the right candidates.

Assistant Director

Candidates for the assistant director position must meet the criteria listed for caregivers. In addition, they must have experience managing employees and must possess office and customer service skills.

Assistant directors must be available to work occasional Sundays. Shifts available for the right candidates:

Monday - Thursday 2:00 - 8:00 p.4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Friday & Saturday 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Sunday shifts 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
